2015 Inaugural LtCol Chris "Otis" Raible Educational Grant Recipient

Amy Looney was our well-deserving recipient of the inaugural 2015 LtCol Chris "Otis" Raible Educational Grant. Amy's track record of strong public service and educational excellence made her a most deserving awardee.

"In 2015, I was the first recipient of the LtCol Chris "Otis" Raible Educational Grant to use towards completing my Master's in Public Administration at George Washington University. This scholarship provided me with the ability to take two additional classes this past summer in order for me to complete my program by December 2016. Without this scholarship and the ability to take these extra courses over the summer, I would have not been able to complete my program until 2017. Working full time while completing a graduate program can take a toll on your time and schedule. Having the ability to complete the program this December has already paid off for me as I am currently in the process of accepting a new leadership role at work. I was also accepted into the Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society at GW's Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Administration. I felt honored to have been afforded the opportunity to carry on the legacy of LtCol Raible while pursuing and successfully completing my Master's program. I am thankful to the Wingman Foundation for supporting me and challenging me to do my best in striving to meet my professional and educational goals. "

2017 Landon Jones Memorial Scholarship

Our inaugural Landon Jones Memorial Scholarship at Cabrillo High School in Lompoc, CA (Landon's alma matter) received fierce competition from very motivated and accomplished applicants. TWF and the Jones Family were proud to award the scholarship to Deven Rosales, whose resume of accomplishment in the classroom and on the playing field captured the spirit of the scholar-athlete that Landon embodied.

2017 Major Michael Martino Scholarship

Our inaugural Major Michael Martino scholarship received a large number of qualified applicants. The scholarship was awarded will the generous financial support of Dog Tag Brewing Foundation, which provided a monetary grant in order to fund the program.  Thanks to this support, TWF was able to award not one but two deserving students with financial support for their studies. Rance Powell, an honorably-discharged Marine, and Devyn Martino, niece of a fallen Marine aviator, were both given scholarship grants to help fund their educational goals.
